Once upon a time, ELIZABETH LYONS received a B.A. in Japanese from The Ohio State University. She subsequently worked for Accenture as Communications Lead for the company's North American Diversity effort.

And then, in a moment of sheer insanity, she traded her degree for diapers, her briefcase for a breast pump, and her suits for sweatpants.  Despite learning to meditate with toys flying over her head, accepting that the soundtrack of her life had gone from U2 to Blue's Clues, and realizing that quiet vacations with her husband had gone the way of the dinosaur, she's never looked back.

Elizabeth lives in Arizona, because it's sunny even on the days when it looks like an F5 tornado hit her home.

She continually coordinates—while consuming vast amounts of chocolate—a busy household that includes a heroic husband, a dramatic daughter, and an indescribable set of twin boys (who now have an energetic younger brother).

Elizabeth's articles and advice have appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Parenting, American Baby, Today's Blue Suit Mom, Pregnancy, Better Homes and Gardens, and on numerous websites.
